10/27 Exclusive Hasbro Livestream Reveals

On Wednesday, Hasbro Pulse held a live event exclusively for its premium members. Luckily, a few toy reviews and websites were kind enough to share images and information about the event.

Every serious toy collector has already Toyark bookmarked. Not only are they great for pulling out news/pictures, but the site provides plenty of links where you can buy figures once they’re available. They are also phenomenal toy photographers. Even though they didn’t provide a well-curated feed of toy news, Toyark was worth visiting just for their photo ops.

If you’ve been collecting Star Wars action figures for a while, chances are KyloCollector is already on your watchlist. Along with giving great scoops/information, he does a great job of helping collectors stay informed about product availability.

As many of you probably know, Yakface is the best site for well-researched rumors and verified scoops on Star Wars toys. The site is so good, in fact, that they were blackballed by Disney/Hasbro for it. Luckily, that didn’t stop them from continuing their excellent track record of discovering new releases before they were officially revealed.

Speaking of reveals, let’s start with what was shown for the Black Series yesterday.

Echo of the Dark Series

It may have taken us longer than expected to get this Bad Batch team member, but his long-awaited release looks fantastic. Hasbro also decided to include a grappling hook arm accessory, which is both very cool and much loved.

The figure will retail for $22.99 and is expected to be available next summer.

Omega Black Series

Ok, I admit that I was not at all excited when this figure was announced. However, after becoming a huge fan of the character, I cautiously added him to my shopping list. Now that I’ve seen how beautiful the silhouette is – and it comes with Ruby as a prop – you better believe I’m gonna grab this one ASAP.

The figure will retail for $22.99 and is expected to be available next summer.

Black Series Bib Fortuna

I’m even more excited about the Vintage Collection version of this character, but my Black Series Jabba won’t mind having a consigliere on the shelf with him – especially one that looks this good.

The figure will retail for $22.99 and is expected to be available next summer.

Black Series Stormtrooper (Jedha Patrol)

This reveal was pretty “meh” to me, but it still looks good. It is also the A thug version of this particular soldier if you are a completer.

The figure will retail for $22.99 and is expected to be available next summer.

The pipeline of the Vintage collection is revealed

Look, I’m also excited about Figren D’an like anyone, but this is the third time it’s been “revealed” that her figure is developing.

As for Yoda and the 501st Trooper, this news will be much more exciting once it’s confirmed that we’re getting new updated sculpts.

The Death Watch Airborne Trooper is going to be an obvious army builder and a must buy.
